Authentic architecture avoids superficial imitation and instead expresses a clear understanding of space, scale, and detail. When aesthetic and functional decisions are resolved with care and intention, architecture gains a distinct and enduring voice.

Sayer Architecture was founded in 2022 by architect Sean Sayer. The practice is supported by a trusted network of freelance architects with strong Revit expertise, allowing it to scale effectively to meet project demands.

Sean brings 17 years of experience in respected commercial practices, with work on large-scale and high-profile projects including the Mbombela Stadium, the V&A Silo District, Zeitz MOCAA, CTICC 2, and the Al Zour Refinery Campus. He also has significant experience in industrial projects, including Builders Express Kenilworth, as well as alterations and additions to various Woolworths and Makro distribution centres and stores. In addition, he has served as site architect on the Constantia Emporium and the V&A Canal District.

Throughout his career, Sean has also taken on smaller-scale projects such as house designs, extensions, and alterations. This breadth of experience gives the practice the nuanced skills required to deliver thoughtful, practical, and well-resolved buildings across a wide range of project types and scales.

Sayer Architects uses world-leading building information modelling technology (Revit), including geo-located site information, to cover every aspect of the design and site in full detail, provide realistic renders as we progress and achieve unparalled resolution and clarity.
